GEOVIA Minex Grid Models
You add a GEOVIA Minex grid model to a scenario in GEOVIA MineSched by clicking Add in the Models pane. Minex grid models are referenced by files with a .b35 or .b35s extension.
Note: In Minex grid models, the files that contain the structure and quality grid data are located in separate folders.
Fields on the Model Detail Pane for Minex Grid Models

| Name |
The name by which you refer to the model in MineSched. The name is automatically populated from the file name. If you want to change the name, type a new name in this field.

| Seam sequence file | Automatically populated with the file location of the Minex grid model you added. |
| Structure grids folder | The folder in which the structure grids are stored. |
| Quality grids folder | The folder in which the quality grids are stored. |
| Base weathering grid name |
The name of the grid that represents the base of weathering in the seam sequence. This grid must be stored in the Structure grids folder.

| Specific gravity | |
| Method |
The method you want to use to calculate the specific gravity of each block in the block model.

| Constant | The value for the specific gravity for all seams in the grid model. |
| Density grid suffix | The suffix that MineSched searches for in the quality grid file names to locate the files that contain the values for specific gravity. |
